OUR STORY
Some love stories begin with a spark. Ricky and Heidy’s began in church, surrounded by faith, family, and the quiet orchestration of God’s timing. They first met as children in Los Angeles, at the church pastored by Heidy’s grandparents, Pastor Amilcar and Olguita Lucero. Ricky’s family attended the congregation, and in a beautifully symbolic moment, the two were chosen to portray the small bride and groom in a church wedding. Dressed in miniature wedding attire, they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand never knowing that one day, they would do so for real.
Life carried them along different paths, but years later, a simple message from Ricky would reconnect them. What began as a casual exchange soon unfolded into a deep and natural friendship, anchored in shared values, laughter, and an undeniable connection.
Their Journey wasn’t without it’s challenges. Long-distance, seasons of growth, and the realities of life tested their bond. But each challenge only brought them closer. Together they learned to put God first, to communicate with intention, and to choose each other. Over and over again.
Now, after years of faith, growth, and prayer, Ricky and Heidy are joyfully stepping into marriage. Their wedding is more than a celebration; it is a full-circle moment, made all the more meaningful by the presence of those who have loved, supported, and prayed for them along the way.
